Sometimes it`s very hard to find a nice restaurant with great food and a feel good environment , and it gets specially hard if you don`t have a huge budget to spend on food. Lucky for me, that`s not my case. Just three blocks away from the Hotel San Juan is Rave Restaurant, literally, one of the best places to eat in San Pedro Sula. With their Bosa Nova music, bright colors and a menu that has everything from coconut shrimp to mega delicious burgers, you are sure to find something you`ll love.
Just the other night, a few guests from Hotel San Juan gathered together and decided to go and try it out. The funny thing is, the leader of the group was dead set against going. His excuse? “It looks expensive, the menu isn`t what I`m used to, I`ve never been there so I don`t know if I like the place.” At the end, I cajoled him into going and giving it a try. I even promised that if the group didn`t find it absolutely espectacular then they could change my name to Fermina. And that would be a problem you see, because I happen to LIKE my current name.
Want to know how the evening turned out? It was a complete success. At the beginning of our meal the host at the restaurant surprised us with two bottles of white wine… on the house! Tell me if that gesture wouldn`t win you over from the get go. And as expected, once the food came in, all objections were gone. Everybody loved what they had ordered. Whew! That was a great relief to me because I got to keep my name. All in all, a great night.
